Whip It Baby,Whip It

OMG...I am so totally high from seeing Whip It ,this movie rocks and I am totally in love with it!Drew Barrymore totally hit it out of the park with her directorial debut.This movie is Girl Power done right.I love how there was ample time taken to develop the characters and that they were not one dimensional.The roller derby scenes were so exhilarating!!I do not want to ruin the movie by giving too much away all I can say is SEE IT!!!!!

I so know what you mean, it was a really well thought out film in terms of character development and having great shots of the actual derby.
After seeing Whip It, I came outta the theatre like "I wanna do roller derby, do we have teams here in OZ?" And now I finally plan on seeing Juno :)

I brought these posts out of the vault in celebration of hubby and I being a couple for 5 blessed years! How We Met On May,4th,2006 there was a 20% off Mother's Day event in the store that I work and a few days prior (one day before I was scheduled to move into my current residence) my boss had me hand out flyers to all the stores.
