One BIG pet peeve,use of the words Husband/Wife by people who aren't married since to me they're special words! I did not use the words husband and wife until I was married.I do however make concessions for couples that are not able to legally marry due to sexual orientation in countries that are not as advanced as Canada!It really irritates me when people think just using the words husband/wife is a consolation for the real thing that involves a REAL commitment that holds you accountable if it fails. I also hate when the words are used at leisure to reference a BF/GF.

Shame on all the Canadians who did not get out and vote, you could have made a difference!We have far too many people here (I have witnessed) who like to complain, but not vote.It is too bad that even if an over 60 is using an oxygen tank and a wheel chair they'll get out to vote, but not a perfectly healthy young person....This speaks volumes about the under 30 demographic!Even though I am not happy with the results of the Canadian Election 2011, I VOTED FOR THE RIGHT TO COMPLAIN!Having the right to vote is a RIGHT I can't believe some Canadians take lightly! The US gave George W Bush two terms so remember this when you are casting stones on the bad result of our Canadian Election!!!I am very disappointed with the results but I am still a VERY PROUD CANADIAN!This comes after reading insulting US tweets about our election results! Osama Bin Laden has been reported as dead this evening. I know it is a time for celebration though, Osama has many minions and he is now the ultimate Martyr! This might have scary ramifications, let us pray not! Say a prayer for the troops tonight!

This evening at St. Joseph's Hospital (in Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada) I think I met quite possibly the rudest, crudest triage nurse EVER!!! She was blonde with shoulder length hair, early to mid 40's. I've had recurrent chest pains for the past few months (thankfully they subsided and I went home). When I went to tell her I had chest pains she abruptly interrupted me and told me they did not deal with chest pain there then spewed off a list of things they did not deal with including "VAG bleeds" (her DISGUSTING words). How RUDE and low class can you get! I understand if they do not deal with chest pains, but seriously she could have had a little more couth when telling me so!
