Happy Birthday Canada, I hope all my fellow Canadians have a lovely Canada Day ! Hubby and I are spending a lovely day at home relaxing and enjoying one another’s company on our first Canada Day as a married couple! We'll possibly have a couple beers and some BBQ!

I have had a fabulous Birthday,my wonderful husband surprised her with tickets to go see one of my favorite comedians Jeremy Hotz (with Frank Spadone, Robert Kelly, Ryan Hamilton and Gina Yashere ) at The Imperial Theatre tomorrow night and her mother took her to a lovely lunch at Vivaldi's Restaurant ! ♥ Fabulous Moment October,18,2010 ♥

I made chicken vegetable soup from scratch for the first time and am proud to say it tasted delightfully fabulous! RECIPE *In A Large Pot* Leftover Chicken Bones From Roasted Chicken 16 Cups Of Water (the water will boil off) Pepper To Taste (salt if desired,I do not like salt) Boil for 3 Hours *In A Frying Pan* 1/2 Large Sweet Onion 1 Minced Garlic Clove 2 Tbsp Butter 1/4 cups White Wine (any white wine is fine) Melt Butter Add Onion and Garlic 1 Minute Later Add White Wine Keep At High Heat Fry Until Wine Cooks Off And Onions Are Caramelized. Add Fried Onions And Garlic To Boiling Pot *VERY IMPORTANT* 30 Minutes Prior To Chicken Stock Being Done Scoop Out Chicken Bones (2hr 30min) 20 Minutes Prior To Chicken Stock Being Done (2hr 40min) Add Can Of Corn and Favourite Fresh Chopped Veggies And Left Over Chicken. I Added 1 Can Corn Green, Red and Yellow Peppers Cauliflower Broccoli Baby carrots Zucchini Barley and Lentils (Optional)

Today Hubby and I went to the DMV and had my legal name change done! It was odd signing my new last name on an official form. For the next while I will have to be careful how I sign things. ♥ Fabulous Moment September, 1, 2010 ♥

…A Double Date Story! Hubby and I went on an amazing double date. Us girls went to see “Eat, Pray, Love” and the boys went to see “The Expendables” . After the movie we went to a late supper at East Side Mario’s  and I was inspired to eat pasta so I had the seafood linguine that comes with shrimp, scallops and mussels in a tomato, basil olive oil sauce. I can not wait for our next double date! ♥ Fabulous Moment August,31,2010 ♥

Tomorrow I marry the best person I have ever known!I am savouring every minute the night before my wedding since this moment will only come once in my life.Right now I am watching an episode of ‘Murphy Brown’ and sipping on Folonari Pink Pinot Grigio and am teary eyed because of a story in the show about Frank being undercover as a homeless person who was offered 37¢ by  a homeless little girl.I am reminded how tremendously blessed I am! ♥ Fabulous Moment August,20,2010 ♥

A Divalicious friend (I have not seen for far too long) and I got together for tea at The Infusion uptown.It was so nice to reminisce and catch up with a such a marvelous gal pal!I hope we do not go so long without talking to each other again!Oh…and the Vanilla Bourbon tea and biscuits with strawberry preserve we pretty delish!  ♥ Fabulous Moment August,5,2010 ♥

I had the most fabulous Bridal Shower thrown for me today!My SIL (via my brother) put together an amazing event at the hotel where she works and my mother and  SIL2B helped.The food was simply delectable and I can not get over how generous the guests were! ♥ Fabulous Moment July,18,2010 ♥

Jason and I got together with a few other people and went uptown in Saint John to partake in Canada Day celebrations, then went to one of our favorite café in Quispamsis for quiche and coffee (I had an iced latte). After all this we met up with our friends again to go to a BBQ. We all headed back uptown to go on the annual haunted ghost walk in our loyalist city and ended the evening with some lovely fireworks! ♥ Fabulous Moment July,1,2010 ♥

Jason and I went to Sears   to start registering (I made the mistake of wearing my “pretty” footwear…lol…) for wedding gifts! ♥ Fabulous Moment June,30,2010 ♥

My father came to town to give me the rest of the wedding money and we had an impromptu lunch at the mall. My father is 70 years old in August so I try to cherish every moment we spend together.
