J and I got our marriage license  today and are now officially licensed to wed. I am now getting so intensely excited!

... One woman's honest experience, thoughts and observations. I have been with my husband for 8.5 years and married for a little over four years. I am truly happily married. My husband is the kindest person I have ever known. Many of my friends and family tell me I am spoiled by my husband because of the small things he does for me. Judge Not, Lest She Be Compared

“She's Too Skinny!” “She's Too Fat!” "She shouldn't have cut her hair!” “She should cut her hair!” “She wears too much makeup!” “She needs to wear more makeup!” “She'd be pretty if it weren't for her nose/ears/lips/eyes!” “She hasn't aged well!” “She's clearly had work done!”  Can we please stop judging other women as a way to convince ourselves we're enough. Judging other women does not make us somehow a superior woman. In fact judging other women keeps us comparing ourselves to other women and increasingly leaves us at a deficit the more we do so. End the judgement, End the comparison!

Shame on all the Canadians who did not get out and vote, you could have made a difference! We have far too many people here (I have witnessed) who like to complain, but not vote. It is too bad that even if an over 60 is using an oxygen tank and a wheelchair they'll get out to vote, but not a perfectly healthy young person....This speaks volumes about the under 30 demographic! Even though I am not happy with the results of the Canadian Election 2011, I VOTED FOR THE RIGHT TO COMPLAIN! Having the right to vote is a RIGHT I can't believe some Canadians take lightly! The US gave George W Bush two terms so remember this when you are casting stones on the bad result of our Canadian Election!!!I am very disappointed with the results, but I am still a VERY PROUD CANADIAN! This comes after reading insulting US tweets about our election results!
