This lil tree got us in the Christmas mood! ... so did our lil Christmas carolers! ... even though Hubby and and I were just having chili I wanted to fix up the table to make it a memorable dining experience. ... now dim the lights for some ambiance. Hubby and I both looked forward to our first Christmas as husband and wife so it was a truly beautiful day! A truly wonderful day and future memory!

Today Hubby and I went to the DMV and had my legal name change done! It was odd signing my new last name on an official form. For the next while I will have to be careful how I sign things. ♥ Fabulous Moment September, 1, 2010 ♥

Hubby and I have been living together for over a year but oddly it was not until we got married that I felt the desire for actually setting up a home. It was great to go out and get our stoneware set of dishes, chocolate brown bath towels, hand towels and facecloths. There are even more things I would like to get but those things will have to wait.

People would tell me prior to my wedding day that the had sadness due to the wedding being over and I personally thought I would be relieved. A few days after the wedding when Hubby was scheduled to go back to work I notice I was feeling blue since the wedding and honeymoon was over. The wedding gave me something to look forward to for two years, but now I find myself with no special event to anticipate. Right now I am trying to pull myself out of the funk of these post nuptial blues though I am not sure how.
