One of my biggest pet peeves is Christmas decorations appearing in stores prior to Remembrance Day!

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone, On this lovely crisp Autumn morning I'm in contemplation of all that I'm thankful for. I have been blessed with a wonderful Husband, adorable (bitchy) kitty, and a loving generous family! 

Knowing this is true makes my day even when the day is rough!

I woke up, took my shower and made sure I was thoroughly prepared for our Honeymoon evening. After I was sure that I was fully prepared I sat and (not so patiently) waited to be picked up 11:45 by my SIL2B who my MOH was. Thankfully Hubby2B programmed our machine of awesomeness (aka coffee machine) to make a pot of coffee for us in the morning. I'll confess I might have put a little Baileys Irish Cream into my coffee. At 11:45am I was picked up by my SIL2B and her fiancé then chauffeured to the hair salon to get my make up hair done. I still cannot get over how well my hair turned out though I have to admit I retouch my make up. My FIL2B arrived for his stint as chauffer that day, the poor man was a little tired and fell asleep in a chair. After the hair and makeup was complete, I was delivered to my mother. I brought these posts out of the vault in celebration of hubby and I being a couple for 5 blessed years! How We Met On May 4th, 2006, there was a 20% off Mother's Day event in the store that I work and a few days prior (one day before I was scheduled to move into my current residence) my boss had me hand out flyers to all the stores. On my venture to hand out the flyers I came upon a kiosk in the mall that does printer cartridge refills, and I handed the flyer to Jason (the manager). When handing the flyer to Jason I smiled my most brilliant smile (I was in sales mode) and said my rehearsed piece (so as not to stumble over my words like usual). Later that day Jason came into the store and pre-made a basket for his mother with my help and came in and bought the basket on the day of the 20% off event. I have had a fabulous Birthday,my wonderful husband surprised her with tickets to go see one of my favorite comedians Jeremy Hotz (with Frank Spadone, Robert Kelly, Ryan Hamilton and Gina Yashere ) at The Imperial Theatre tomorrow night and her mother took her to a lovely lunch at Vivaldi's Restaurant ! ♥ Fabulous Moment October,18,2010 ♥

Tomorrow I marry the best person I have ever known!I am savouring every minute the night before my wedding since this moment will only come once in my life.Right now I am watching an episode of ‘Murphy Brown’ and sipping on Folonari Pink Pinot Grigio and am teary eyed because of a story in the show about Frank being undercover as a homeless person who was offered 37¢ by  a homeless little girl.I am reminded how tremendously blessed I am! ♥ Fabulous Moment August,20,2010 ♥

I had the most fabulous Bridal Shower thrown for me today!My SIL (via my brother) put together an amazing event at the hotel where she works and my mother and  SIL2B helped.The food was simply delectable and I can not get over how generous the guests were! ♥ Fabulous Moment July,18,2010 ♥

My father came to town to give me the rest of the wedding money and we had an impromptu lunch at the mall. My father is 70 years old in August so I try to cherish every moment we spend together. Soon enough my wedding day will be here and I will be pledging my love and commitment to my wonderful man.It is so hard to believe that as of June it will be four years for us then soon after that we will be officially husband and wife.I am so excited to be becoming a Mrs. to such a kind and selfless man. My life is about to change so much,I am about to be a wife and hopefully about 2 years later I will be a mother!Our relationship is already pretty amazing now and I know our marriage will be great.I am not saying that our marriage will be perfect but we are both equally committed to working on it from day to day. I am surprisingly confident about my impending marriage since we are both aware that a marriage is something that should never be taken for granted."J" and I have both said that we will do anything to make the marriage work since we have witnessed friends going through divorce.We both know that a marriage can fall apart if it is not nurtured.Hopefully if time...

Last night "J" took me to see "The Invention Of Lying" for my Birthday and I was excited to see what I was expecting to be a witty romantic comedy!As the movie began I thought it was funny then it became something I felt dirty watching.The icky feeling started when Mark Bellison (Gervais' character) told his mother about the after life to make her feel better,implying that heaven's existence is a lie.Mark Bellison after reports of the after life story gains followers and media coverage.If implying that Heaven was a lie was not bad enough in front of his apartment building Mark Bellison holds up two pizza boxes containing hand-written laws of behavior (Ten Commandments) on behalf of the Man in the Sky (God).When Mark emerged at his door with a sheet (Robe) with long hair and a beard like Jesus "J" and I decided we were offended enough to leave!the fact I left says alot given since I loved Dogma and Saved!
