Anne Of Green Gables: A New Beginning (I am In Love With Anne Shirley)

The other night my fiancé and I happened upon "Anne Of Green Gables: A New Beginning" and I am thrilled we did because it was the best movie I think I have seen since the previous "Anne Of Green Gables" film. Anytime I watch an "Anne Of Green Gables" film the same things happen I become totally enveloped in the complexity of the story and its characters! None of the plots (there are more than one plot per film) are one dimensional and neither are the characters. Anne Shirley is one of my favourite characters ever and I am forever in great appreciation to Lucy Maud Montgomery for creating her!

"Anne Of Green Gables: A New Beginning" delved into the days of Anne Shirley before Marilla and Matthew Cuthbert. This movie really provided an inside look into what made Anne Shirley who she was. I'm so happy that The actress Hannah Endicott-Douglas who played young Anne Shirley and Barbara Hershey who played Older Anne Shirley did the same justice to the character that Megan Follows did in prior "Anne Of Green Gable" films. This film definitely requires a box of Kleenex!

I brought these posts out of the vault in celebration of hubby and I being a couple for 5 blessed years! How We Met On May,4th,2006 there was a 20% off Mother's Day event in the store that I work and a few days prior (one day before I was scheduled to move into my current residence) my boss had me hand out flyers to all the stores. So Sweet You'll Want To Vomit,Deal With It..lol...

J and I have been told by others that we are that couple that are so sweet it makes them want to vomit and that is alright by me, in fact I am proud of it. Not only do I have the best man ever but he saved my life. During the accident I was unconscious and he held my head above water while he had a freshly broken collar bone. J and I had to experience the horrific what if one of us had died that day *shudders* and that only further solidified our boundless love. Here I sit approximately three and a half years after "J" and I got together with less than a year to our wedding day and I am head over heels. I never knew that I could give my whole heart to someone and have it handled with such care. It is wonderful not to have to protect a piece of my heart at all times! Every day he makes me laugh, he spoils me in little ways and he compliments me all the time! At times I wonder how did I ever get so lucky?
